Eldoterra

With its long coastlines on the Casridden and Claiercier Oceans, Aeros is a nation of sailors. Its southern half consists of sandy isles, while its northern counterpart remains mountainous.

Sol. Uniquely positioned over Eldoterra’s largest subterranean freshwater reservoir, Sol’s cities are desert oasises. The persistent warmer climate draws tourists and visitors year-round.

Fernth. With hills rich in coal and mountains rich in gemstones, the denizens of Fernth spend much of their time in mines.

Aeros’ capital city, Kyrsal.

Illa Ysari. The seat of Eldoterra’s High Throne.

Renna’s capital city, Mythal.

The Iolus Empire’s capital city, Lightvale.

Strayus’ capital city, Optalide.

Kelpen’s capital city, Eastvale.

Vis’s capital city, Nyluma.

Ferth’s capital city, Aeston.

Cyanthe. The only nation to have a working relationship with Othia, even if it is unstable.

Erus’ capital city, Ollora.

Cyanthe’s capital city, Ebongard.

Ashemere. Admittance by invitation only.

Battalia’s capital city,
Yel.

Monora’s capital city, Elias.

Corvallis’ capital city, Jaslona.

Strayus. All but a few hundred square miles of the country is barren desert. As a result, nearly all of its population lives in Opaltied.

Erus. The largest and most northern fae nation. It’s filled with dense forests, winding rivers, and is home to the Caulis Mountains.

Gersand’s capital city, Rym.

Dynalis’ capital city, Elandrew.

Sol’s capital city, Solis.

Kelpen. Flat grassy plains, fertile soil, and ocean access through Elmsvein Bay makes this human-led country ideal for farmers.

Monora. Sharing its borders with two countries intolerant of fae, Monora’s political landscape is treacherous.

Gersand. Centrally located on the continent, Gersand serves as a gateway between eastern and western Eldoterra.

Dynalis. A human-led nation comprised of two islands, Dynalis is one of the rare places in the west to welcome fae.

The Iolus Empire. Consuming most of the western coast, early human settlers discovered abandoned dwarven tunnels in the Zoran Mountains following the Dividing War fae.

Othia. Island nation home to hedge witch covens and werewolf packs. They do not adhere to the laws of fae or humans and prefer to isolate themselves.

Renna. Due to its marshy terrain, few cities exist within its borders. Those that do are considered archetectural wonders.

Corvallis. Largely barren due to the damage of several now long-dormant volcanoes, the lands beneath are rich in gold, iron, silver, and obsidian.

Vis. The second largest fae nation in both landmass and population. It features rolling hills, dividing rivers, and the glacier-made Lake Emerald.

Battalia. Often touted as one of the most scenic fae nations, the country is known for its vineyards and wilderness along the Siren’s Inlet.

The Vugura Kingdom. The wintery northernmost lands of the continent are in hospitable to most making them the perfect retreat for Indui’s Blessed and their court of vampires.

Cerwiden

A fantasy map of the continent Cerwidn, showing regions like Northwood, Eastern Wylds, Coldrock Warrens, and Withering Sands, with various towns and castles labeled.

Eastern Wylds. Home to three strongholds, the majority of the eastern half of Cerwiden consists of dense forests, the eroding remains of old mountains, and several lakes with unknown depths.

Lyresant. Surrounded by water on three sides, contesting Houses are forced to brave the Warrens if they wish to usurp its sitting Patriarch.

Adras. One of the more difficult strongholds to take, Adras is contested often. Almost as often as Cal Anore.

Cerwiden’s seat of the High Throne.

Stronghold and portside city, Uva Serpine. All trade with Eldoterra passes through here.

Northwood. Dense, dark forest of ancient evergreens and tangled roots.

Vargas Nor. The second most sought after stronghold following Cal Anore.

Norkinath. While not Malbolge, it sounds like the Malbolge phrapse “nor-kae-na’z.” Which loosely translates to Sheep for the Slaughter.

Lysanaire. The surrounding terrain consists of deep, glacier-made lakes and few rivers making this stronghold one of the easiest to take.

Coldrock Warrens. Desolate, wind-battered cliffs and bluffs. The terrain is inhospitable to most living creatures.

Khirus Ox. The cursed stronghold. Patriarchs who take Khirus Ox often end up bedfellows with Indui’s Blessed.

Oro Aqua. Not a favored stronghold by seasoned Patriarchs as the oil cisterns below have yet to be fully mapped.

Fel Themar. One of the easier strongholds to establish a House in, this stronghold doesn’t change Patriarchs often.

Aymelas. A stronghold protected by swift flowing rivers to the south and miles of shoreline along the north and west.

Mikrax. Despite its relatively open positioning, the swift flowing rivers make it difficult to breach with an army of undead.

Vokinas. The Norkill Mountains aren’t enough to keep Patriarchs from attempting to take this stronghold and Aymelas.

Neren Ayn. Due to its proximity to Uva Serpine, this stronghold changes Patriarchs often. Most last less than 50 years.

Khirus Ox. More often than not, the Patriarchs who settle into this stronghold accept the blessing of vampirism.

Withering Sands. Southeastern coastal region which has become arid due to the persistent blood magic use at Vargas Nor.

Whispering Peninsula. While not connected to Eldoterra via landmass, the peninsula is easy to reach via boat—if the Vugura Kingdom has granted it.
