Meet D.M. Darcy

Author of grim worlds, gray characters, and gleaming romance…

D.M. Darcy has been a fan of the darker side of fantasy for centuries. Finally, she's stepped into the light to give storytelling a whirl. When she's not writing, you can find her tucked away in the wilds of northern New York hiking, photographing love stories, traveling, or on the couch cuddling a tiny rooster.

She’s an avid fan of rainy days, stained glass windows, and an aficionado of all featured creatures. D.M. Darcy first put pen to paper during the late 1900’s weaving fantastical stories about badass women in worlds meant to leave you breathless.

She lives in New York with her husband, son, and indoor tiny rooster.

Due to my career as an elopement and wedding photographer, bookish events are difficult for me to attend. My schedule allows for me to attend roughly 1-2 events per year.

2025

    This will be my first ever event! I’m super excited and honored to be included as an attending author.

    11:00pm - 6:00pm

    Where: The STRAND
    Watertown, NY

    Come meet some local authors, find your new favorite bookish vendors, sit in on a few workshops, readings, or panels, and have fun!

    This will be the last 2025 in-person event I attend! It’ll be the first in which you’ll be able to get signed copies of Book 2: As Within, So Without!

    Please note: This event requires a $5 entrance fee.
