D.M. Darcy has been a fan of the darker side of fantasy for centuries. Finally, she's stepped into the light to give storytelling a whirl. When she's not writing, you can find her tucked away in the wilds of northern New York hiking, photographing love stories, traveling, or on the couch cuddling a tiny rooster.

She’s an avid fan of rainy days, stained glass windows, and an aficionado of all featured creatures. D.M. Darcy first put pen to paper during the late 1900’s weaving fantastical stories about badass women in worlds meant to leave you breathless.

She lives in New York with her husband and indoor tiny rooster.

    + Not Miss, or Mrs., but Dr. I earned my doctoral degree in psychology (specalization in human sexuality and psychological research) in 2021. My master’s is in Clinical Psychology, my bachelor’s is in Applied Behavioral Analysis, and my two Associate’s degrees are in Music Theory and Paralegal Studies. (All that to say, ya girl is educated.)

    + I’m a full time elopement photographer. Since I’m always behind the camera, I’m really awkward in front of it.

EVENTS

Due to my career as an elopement and wedding photographer, bookish events are difficult for me to attend. My schedule allows for me to attend roughly 1-2 events per year.

    NOTE: I have an elopement on Feb 13th downstate. Weather permitting, I’ll be there. But if weather is bad, postponing the elopement, I will not be.
